First time with switches but the ergonomics, switching trigger to switches, back buttons... It's all just well thought out. A few videos on how to program would be handy but not too bad at all. The fact you don't have to install bloatware and can switch input styles is just "chef's kiss".

It is my first controller. So i cant really compare it to another controllers. But so far so good! I love the thing! Its responsive and the lockable triggers are a game changer. The buttons feel amazing. And generally its a cool and great controller! So far this is a bargain for its price. But still its not perfect. I mean tbh you are not finding anything better for this price and it does feel and play amazing but the USB dongle for the 2.4Ghz wireless option keeps the light flickering 24/7 as long as it has power. Although it hasnt really been a lot of a distraction for me, It might be for some. But there is a workaround for that too. You can always just disable USB power when your PC is shutdown at your bios settings. It wont change a lot unless you dont power something when your PC is off. Oh and this IS IMPORTANT!! The gyro only works with the nintendo mode which only has about 60Hz polling rate. Which sucks. And because the polling rate sucks, The gyro sucks. So DO NOT EVEN THINK about the gyro while purchasing this controller. Although it would be nice to have one and its practically one of the reasons i bought this controller, The gyro is no biggie atleast for me. Sure you will play better with a gyro but what can you expect from 50 bucks? Let me be honest: If you are an complete sweat and want the best input to absolutely dominate with gyro, You should buy a dualsense. But if you look at comfort this os an banger. The buttons are just so much satisfying. And the back buttons are cool! Oh and the controller can do 1500HZ polling rate wireless! Forgot to tell. Its a beast! Works with you phone and tablet and all too! So i would definately recommend. Just a bit unsatisfied with the gyro. It would just be better to not put it but again: Its FOR nintendo. So i cant be a nintendo controller without one. But i would want something a bit better if you already going to put a gyro in it.

I'm not that big of a fan of the a, b, x, y buttons, and the dongle blinks blue even when there PC is off, which is a bit annoying. However, the controller is still very good. The joysticks are great and the paddles work perfectly.

It was incredibly simple to set up; literally plug and play.
The triggers took some getting used to, but they feel really good now. The ABXY buttons have a little pre-travel before actuating, which makes it hard to find the sweet spot when button mashing. The sticks FEEL perfect, even if I haven't checked if they are properly calibrated.

Since November, when my Dualsense Edge developed stickdrift, I stoped using it and was in search for a great affordable alternative with Hall effect sticks. In mid-February, I bought this controller and am thoroughly impressed by its great feel and texture, button tactility is deliciously satisfying and Hall effect sticks and triggers removes the anxiety of getting drift and needing to change controllers. I specifically wanted this controller was the great rgb design - which I didn’t think I would love as much - and fact it did not require any additional software to configure as I do all my gaming on SteamOS I prefer not to navigate through separate settings and applications to disrupt the console like experience I feel the OS provides.
However, I did not give it full stars due to a few minor issues. Firstly, there is a lack of integration with SteamOS. When I paired the controller via the dongle, it did not function properly, forcing me to switch to D-Input and subsequent button input reconfiguration. While this process was not overly cumbersome, it was somewhat unusual. I sincerely hope that Easysmx could collaborate with Valve or initiate an email exchange to establish a seamless connection especially since I saw a os update which added native support for an 8bit do controller, Currently, I am unable to use X-Input, which eliminates the vibration motor, which is quite disappointing. To a lesser extent, the controller’s grey surface tends to accumulate dirt a little more than I thought it would but I knew that this would likely happen.
Moreover, I have found that attempting to use Bluetooth is occasionally unreliable and won’t show up or pair up. I don’t primarily use Bluetooth on my computer and occasionally on my Switch so it didn’t bother me but be aware of that.
These are the primary concerns I have with the controller. I hope that Easysmx can find a solution to add native support for SteamOS, as there may be some individuals like myself who prefer to use Steam exclusively and do not wish to undergo the additional configuration process. If not for my desire to use D-Input, I would have assumed it was incompatible and assumed that it was malfunctioned.
I express my gratitude to Easysmx for their efforts and anticipate using this controller in the near future. I appreciate your attention to this review.
Ps: if you don’t like light controllers this may not be your thing as it feels lighter than an Xbox controller which feels quite light

The controller is a little small feeling but I rapidly got used to it. All of the features work well and are easy to learn. I love that there is no associated software that has to be run in the background. I also wish there was a larger battery, however, 1000 mili amp hour is good enough for 5-8 hours or so depending on use and settings. Everything else about the controller is awesome, especially for the price I paid of 48 dollars.

Ok, so I bought this controller for $50. I believe it to be worth $50 absolutely. It's fantastic. I am obsessed with controllers and have xbox, xbox elite series 1 and 2, ps5 dual sense, vader pro 3 and pro 4's, 8BitDo, etc. This one is great, every button feels like a mouse click even the D-Pad. The RGB is fine albeit unnecessary, it is great you can change the light pattern/color but it is not easy to do consistently and once I found a solid color I liked I pretty much left it alone. All that said, it took literal weeks to arrive from China so keep that in mind and don't expect it to arrive quickly. It likely will take a while.

Compared to the vader 4 pro and apex 4 the controller can hold its own. All in all Id say if you can get it for under 50€ definitely a recommendation. Above I would spend the extra and go for the Vader 4 Pro because of the Trigger Vibration and heavier feel. Also the software from Flydigi is a bit more nuanced.

What was a surprise though, is that the USB-C charging/data port is within a recess, too small for many USB-C cables to fit into.
I have also experienced connection drop out using the dongle.
Using Bluetooth instead didn’t want to connect at first, then would forget my controller on next boot. I only tested it on Windows (11) so far though, so I’d be more inclined to think this is a Microsoft bug at fault and not EasySMX. For a while now however, it has been fine.
I really like how I can have the triggers work as buttons.
The analog sticks do feel premium with great response.
Buttons are rather clicky, but are responsive.
I’ve yet to test out more than basic functionality, however I do notice the software driver is not signed with a publisher. A major security concern that in my opinion makes for a disappointment.

To be honest, I’ve tested many controllers—whether for PC, Xbox, or PS5—and for the money, this controller is perfect . Of course, it’s only perfect within this price range, as it doesn’t feel as premium as an Elite (which costs twice as much), but I’m completely happy, and the tactile buttons feel fantastic! Is there even a controller in this price range with tactile buttons? I don’t think so! Keep up the good work!

I would give it 5 stars but I think the D-pad on this controller feels like slop, I wouldn't recommend this controller if you play games that mostly use the D-pad like 2d platformers and such otherwise it's an amazing controller for shooters and anything 3d really.

Absolutely in love with this controller! It replaced my PS5 controller (I’ve used several that just end up drifting and it was horrifically annoying) and has been an absolute delight! The sensitive sticks that are responsive and elegant, and the mechanical switches everywhere are amazing. Easily my favorite controller I’ve ever owned. Only wish it was a little heavier (I kinda wanna keyboard style mod it and put a few layers of electrical tape on the PCB to get some more weight for it, but will probably just deal with the light build for now!) Will be keeping an eye out for future Easy SMX products :)

Love the controller. Fits super well into my hands and feels good. Good reaction times and connection methods with dongle, Bluetooth, or cable connection are nice.
The only small complaint is, that the barcode print on the backside of the controller started to vanish directly after the first use.
Otherwise, 10/10 would buy again.

Solid gamepad, solid feel and solid features. Got it during the chinese new year sale and while it took a while to get to me, the wait was worth it. The quality of the controller is great for the price, the battery life is also great. All the functionality it's got is now simply a must have for me. The only thing i wish is having a way to use the gyroscope more. Since the only way i can use it for now is to just assign it to one of the sticks, but that's really about it. Great controller overall

Pros: Light, fast, pretty, and sturdy feel. Tactile buttons are unique and effective. Many great programming features.
Cons: too bright, some lights can't be turned off, instructions are wrong or poorly translated, tactile buttons pose a risk for longevity, WiFi connector dongle blinks forever for no reason, and a proprietary USBc cable with a deep and narrow cutout around the connector making many other cables ineffective.
Overall I am happy with it. It's a significant improvement over my kingkong2pro. But it is not without flaws and these should be considered before buying.

Excellent controller for its price. Sure, it is not the most premium controller ever, but the features and build quality are beyond expectations at this price point.
Personal highlights:
- The Hall effect joysticks really delivered - accurate and responsive.
- Both trigger modes feel great and they are easy switch.
- Turbos and programmable buttons that run entirely on firmware and do not require driver/app installation on the host device.
- On the light side (but doesn’t feel cheap), which suits my personal preference
Complaints:
- The mechanical XYAB buttons have some feedbackless pretravel before they engage with the mechanical switch, which feel a bit weird. (The actual mechanical switch part feels great though.)
- Battery capacity is on the small side.
